At the March '07 AZSPF meeting we will discuss tried and true web-app hacking techniques and emerging trends.
About the Speaker:
Adam is the co-founder of QuietMove, an Information Security consultancy that focuses on providing comprehensive assessment and web application developer security eduction services. He has over 14 years of information technology management experience in information security, software, and product R&D, with 8 years of that being dedicated solely to security. Adam’s particular talents include penetration testing of web and binary applications, networks, systems, and SCADA, “social engineering” and physical penetration of facilities, and in developing professional services offerings.
In the past, Adam served as the Information Security Officer for a publicly traded company with offices in 12 countries, was an Ethical Hacking Subject Matter Expert at IBM Global Services, and launched web application assessment and developer security training service offerings for another security consultancy. Adam is currently on the advisory board of Dynatek Media, the leader in remotely managed Digital Signage solutions.
Adam is a CISSP and speaks regularly at Information Security conferences. Recent examples have included the Information Security Summit, SecureSD, Texas Regional Infrastructure Security Conference, Infragard, many ISSA chapter quarterly training events, and online for Ziff Davis Media.
The Arizona Security Practitioner's Forum is an organic group for InfoSEC Professionals.
Generally, our purpose is:
- To facilitate knowledge transfer, networking and growth within the InfoSEC community.
- To provide a forum for IT professionals to grow InfoSEC awareness and competencies.
